"Au Chicot is the perfect getaway - a lovely place, and it's quite obvious that you've gone to a lot of trouble to furnish it very well. One of the important areas, so often not properly equipped, is the kitchen. This usually results in ones holiday diet having to be modified around sub-standard cookers and (un)available utensils. Happily this is not the case at Au Chicot!"

"What a great time, in a beautiful part of France! We had Armagnac galore, a highlight being the personalised tour of Busca Maniban by Madame herself. We made a trip to St Jean de Luz and plenty of shorter ones to all the beautiful villages; enjoyed long evenings around the barbecue and shorter jogs around the countryside. A great time indeed!"
